This premium quality grease fitting, made from EN-1A steel, has been manufactured with the most stringent quality standards, being approved by TS16949. The fitting profile and dimensions have been accurately controlled and conform to SAE, DIN, BS, JIS, and IS standards. Every grease fitting has been heat treated to SAE J534 specification with a hardness on the greasing end at a minimum of 83 on the Rockwell 15N scale (case depth of 0.0005" to 0.0009"). In addition, the springs used in the fittings have been heat treated for increased durability. All steel fittings have been plated 0.0002" (5 microns) thick, conforming to ASTM B117 specification and have a guaranteed salt spray life of over 75 hours to red rust. Every grease fitting is rated up to 6000 PSI. The dimensions (for guidance only) are as follows: 3.75mm min. effective thread length, 5.5mm shank length, 16.0mm overall length, and 7.0mm hex size.
