Designed for use with the GB KOH14A Slug-Out Hydraulic Knockout Set and compatible with most 3.5" punch and die sets the converter eliminates the need for spaces and helps to center the hole. Thread the KC3540 converter into the punch from the inside until seated making sure the die counter bore is positioned over the boss projecting from the port end of the cylinder. The converter requires a 1.5 Inch diameter or larger guide hole (use 1-1/2" punch and die) to be drilled prior to use. It is important to install the converter on the inside of the punch as damage to the pull rod would result from incorrect installation of the converter on the outside of the punch. Once you've placed the pull rod into the guide hole. Install the punch on the pull rod and turn until the converter is into the guide hole.
